This workshop based intervention follows a comprehensive HIV/AIDS management curriculum, based around defined strategic themes as an enhancement to the blended learning approach complemented by the online management toolkits. The programme integrates internal corporate HIV/AIDS intelligence with SETA requirements for formative assessment and principles of OBE (outcomes based education). These sessions will take half a day for a group of 20 managers per session.

• Overview and impact of the epidemic
• Acquiring HIV/AIDS information and knowledge as the starting point for dealing with this epidemic
• South African labour legislation related to HIV/AIDS
• Risk management
• Buy-in to the objectives and expected outcomes of the workplace programme
• To assist in the successful roll-out of the programme
